Mr. Nirav Shah

Mr. Nirav Shah, 52, is currently the Group Head – Corporate Banking at HDFC Bank. In his current role, he is in charge of extending the Bank’s wide range of products and services to Large Corporates, Public Sector Undertaking and Multi-National Companies.

Mr. Shah has overall work experience of about 28 years of which 24 years has been with the Bank. Mr. Shah joined the Bank in 1999 as a Relationship Manager with the Corporate Banking Group and in just over a decade, he went on to head businesses such as the Emerging Corporates Group, Infrastructure Finance Group, Rural Banking Group, and Transportation Finance before taking up the current role in 2020.

This is his second stint with the Corporate Banking. In his earlier role in 2011, he was western region head during which he was responsible for acquiring and developing several large corporate relationships.

Mr. Shah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a Master of Management Studies (MMS) in finance from Mumbai University.

In his spare time, he likes to unwind by traveling across the world and is a keen follower of sports.
