Contactless Payment

  • Purchase MoneyBack Credit Card is enabled* for Contactless Payments at retail outlets.

(Note: In India, payment through contactless mode is allowed for a maximum of ₹5,000 for a single transaction where you are not asked to input your Credit Card PIN. However, if the amount is higher than or equal to ₹5,000, the Card holder must enter the Credit Card PIN for security reasons. You may check for the Contactless Network Symbol on your card.)

Regular and special merchants will be classified according to the merchant category code received by the bank in the transaction settlement file.

No, if the customer is delinquent for any product with the bank, they will not receive CashBack in the delinquent month. Missed CashBack will not be processed or paid in subsequent months.

Special MCC spends include spends on merchants, but are not limited to Taxes, Government related services, Telecom, Groceries, Fuel, Utility, Insurance, Education, Home décor, Railway, Restaurant, Taxi, Toll fees, Bus lines, Charity, Political organisations, Religious organisations, Beauty shops, Barber shops, Child care services, Real estate agents & rentals, Legal services, Halls, Studios, Laundry services, Agricultural co-operatives, Electrical contractors, Civic, Tax preparation services, Social organisations, Fraternal organisations, Department stores, Supermarkets, Bakeries and Confectionery stores will be considered as special MCC spends.

Spends other than the above-mentioned merchants will be classified as General MCC spends.
