You can visit your nearest Pune metro station, or you can also fill in the E-form available online post which a Unique number is sent via SMS on your mobile after which the card can be purchased at any Pune metro station by just showing the unique number.

Yes, minors of age 13 - 18 can issue a card by providing an Aadhar number or Passport.
Follow the steps to issue card for minor using Aadhar card (last four-digit) as OVD

  1. Provide minor’s mobile number, DOB and other details of minor. 
  2.  Minor will be asked to provide guardian’s name, mobile number and minor’s Aadhar number (last four-digit) post which the guardian will receive a SMS containing a link for consent. 
  3. Guardian must click on the link and provide consent post which you must enter the OTP sent to guardian’s mobile number.  
  4. On submission of details a unique number will be sent to you via SMS that you must provide to the operator for issuance of card.

Once you receive your card it needs to be loaded with money post which you may simply tap the card on the specified area on the Automatic gates/ validator and again at the destination station.

Your one Pune Metro card is valid for 3 years from the date of issuance. After which you can apply for the re-issuance of card at Pune metro station.

Your One Pune Card can store offline balance on the card chip for metro travel/ticketing payment. Hence, the card would have distinct balances as indicated below.

 

  • Total Balance - The amount of money available on your Card after fees and charges have been deducted.   

  • Chip Balance - The amount set aside for your metro gate Tap & Pay transactions; maximum chip balance can be ₹2,000.  

  • Card balance / Host balance – The amount available on the card excluding chip balance that can be utilised for retail purchases (POS and E -commerce).  

  • Card /Host balance = Total Balance – Chip Balance.  

You can check your balance in the following ways:

  • Visit your nearest Metro Station and use kiosk or Add Value Machines (AVM).
  • Contact the Customer Care Helpline at 022-45000800.
  • Visit the HDFC Bank One Pune Card customer portal:      
  1. Visit theportal.
  2. Enter the last 6 digits and card expiry number and submit.
  3. On the next page, enter the mobile number and captcha.
  4. Enter the OTP sent to the registered mobile number which you must enter to log in to the portal.
  5. After logging in, view your card balance and statement.

To top-up your Pune Metro card you can:

  • Log in to the customer portal and top-up your card.
  • Visit an NCMC-enabled Metro Station and request a top-up from the TOM operator.
  • Use the Kiosk/ATVM at an NCMC-enabled Metro Station and follow the on-screen instructions.

After topping up the card via customer portal or Pune metro counter, you must insert your card into the Add Value Machine (AVM) or Kiosk machine which is installed at metro station for chip balance top-up.

The minimum limit for card top-up is ₹50/- and for maximum limit for top-up is ₹10,000/-(Maximum limit for chip balance is ₹2,000/-).

 

Upon 2 years from the date of issuance it is mandatory for the customer to convert their card to full KYC. Post which the limit gets extended to ₹2,00,000 for customers with full KYC documents.

To change the PIN, log on to the customer portal and click on Set PIN/Reset PIN. Click here to visit customer portal.

Yes, the card provides travelers with two benefits: 
 

- Cashless metro transit across Pan India wherever NCMC enabled terminals are available. 

- Retail Payments at merchant outlets across the country, without having to carry several cards. Customer must enable contactless and e-commerce capability on the customer portal for contactless purchase at retail and online merchants. 

No, Since The card is issued at the Pune metro station counter, there is no need for the holder to be a HDFC bank customer. 

A month before the card's renewal, you will receive an SMS requesting for renewal to which you will have to visit nearest Pune metro station counter for card re-issuance.

If the card is lost or stolen the cardholder must immediately report the loss / theft by calling 022-45000800 or block the card temporarily via SMS, by texting below given code, space and last six digits of your One Pune card number to 5676712.

“BLKOP1” for Regular One Pune Card 

OR

“BLKOP2” for Student card.

This process can also be done via logging in to the customer portal in the card hotlist section. The cardholder must note that any balance stored on the offline chip is non-refundable if the card is stolen or lost.

Minimum KYC cards must be updated to Full-KYC cards within two years after card issuance by providing required KYC documentation; otherwise, a credit freeze will be placed to the card however, the amount available on the card is still usable.

On issuance of card 18% GST will be applied on Issuance fees and 1.8% or ₹12 fees (whichever is less) will be applied on card top-up. 

The balance in your card will be transferred to the new card (both chip and account).

Yes, ₹10000 is the monthly transaction limit for min KYC. For contactless retail transaction you can tap and pay up to ₹5000 (per transaction). For transaction above ₹5000 you are required to enter the PIN.

One customer can get a maximum of 4 cards. 

Balance sync is performed to transfer host balance to chip balance which can further be used at transit. When customer performs top-up via customer portal the amount is added to host balance, so to use it at transit one must mandatorily perform balance sync by visiting Kiosk or ATVM installed at Pune metro station, and simply following the instructions given on screen to balance sync.

When you turn 18, updating your PAN in the customer portal is mandatory for KYC compliance. Log in and click on "My Profile" page, click "Add PAN," enter your PAN number, and validate it using the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.

You can still use your card without updating the PAN, but you’ll have a lower spending limit until your PAN is updated and verified. You’ll receive pop-up reminders every time you log in and SMS reminders every few days until you complete the update.
