PhonePe HDFC Bank Uno Credit Card

Steps to Apply:

Login to the PhonePe APP.
Look for PhonePe HDFC Credit card banner in the APP.
Start application by filling in the details.

You can apply only through the PhonePe app. There is no offline or website-based application process.

Eligibility Criteria –
Nationality: Indian
Age: 21 to 65 years

Disclaimer - The final application decision, variant (Ultimo or Uno) & credit limit will be subject to Bank's internal policies.

Joining Fee: ₹499 + applicable taxes

Annual Fee: ₹499 + applicable taxes

Annual Year Fee waived upon spending ₹1,00,000 in the previous year.

Below spends will not be considered for the waiver –

• Cash advances
• Credit Card fees or any charges
• All EMI spends
• Any other categories excluded as per the Bank’s internal policies

Objective

HDFC Bank Credit Card holders have to activate their Credit Cards within 30 days from Card Open Date, as per ‘Master Direction – Credit and Debit Card – Issuance and Conduct Directions, 2022’ dated April 21, 2022 realized by Reserve bank of India (RBI).

In case the credit card is not activated within 30 days of card open date, grace period of 7 days will be given to activate the card with the below mentioned modes. End of 37th day card will be closed (Details: rbi.org.in/Scripts/BS_ViewMasDirections.aspx?id=12300)

Modes for Card Activation:

• Through Credit Card usage – Use your Credit Card for at least 1 Online or POS transactions to keep your Credit Card active. 

Setting Credit Card PIN:

• Through MyCards – Login to mycards.hdfc.bank.in > Choose Add -Credit Card > Enter the last 4 digits of your new credit card > Select Set PIN > input your desired 4 digit PIN Through ATM – Card holders can set their 4-digit Credit Card PIN at HDFC BANK ATM with green PIN shared to the registered Mobile No.

• Through IVR – Card holders can set their 4-digit Credit Card PIN by calling IVR No. 1860 266 0333. Upon calling the IVR please input your card number, validate through OTP and set your preferred PIN.

• Through NetBanking – Log in to our Net Banking and visit Cards. Choose Change PIN and set your preferred PIN (available only for customers holding savings/salary/current accounts)

Enabling your online, contactless and international transactions:

• Through Whatsapp Banking – Please save the number 7070022222 and send a message "Manage My Credit Card" to enable. Alternatively, you can click here.

• Through Eva – To interact with Eva, please click here and choose your preferred transactions to enable.

Customers can redeem their reward points in two ways – 

• As cashback in the statement against their outstanding credit card balance through HDFC Bank Netbanking portal.

• Towards a wide range of offerings on HDFC Bank SmartBuy platform.

Redemption value

• 1 Reward Point is equivalent to Re.1 when redeemed as cashback against statement credit.

• 1 Reward Point is equivalent to Re.0.3 of SmartBuy (Flights/Hotels, Airmiles & Product Catalogue).

Please Note –

• The minimum Reward Point balance required for redemption against the statement balance is 500 Reward Points.

• Unredeemed Reward Points will expire/lapse after 2 years from the date of accumulation.

• Maximum cashback redemption of Rs 7,500 per calendar month.

• Unredeemed Reward Points will expire/lapse after 2 years of accumulation

• If the cardholder opts for redemption as Cashback against statement, there will be no redemption fee levied.

• Interest-free Credit Period - Get up to 50 days of interest-free credit from the date of purchase. (subject to submission of the charge by the merchant)
• Zero Cost Card Liability - Available on any fraudulent transactions made on your Credit Card if reported immediately to HDFC Bank’s 24-hour Call Centre.
