To proceed with your DVAT registration cancellation process, complete and submit Form DVAT 091. This starts the cancellation procedure. The authorities will assess your application, and once approved, your DVAT registration will be terminated.

To obtain an Input Tax Credit (ITC) under Delhi Value Added Tax (DVAT), make sure you possess a tax invoice for your purchase. The invoice must include all required details according to DVAT tax credit rules. Record the purchase information and ITC claim in your DVAT returns.

To complete the Delhi VAT registration process, you'll need the following documents: 

  • PAN card
  • Identity proof (such as voter ID, passport, or driving licence)
  • Aadhaar card/election ID
  • Bank account details (a cancelled cheque), and proof of business address
