You can visit your nearest Pune metro station and request the ticketing operator to issue the One Pune Transit Card.
Since the One Pune Transit Card is a mass transit card, you are not required to provide any verification details.
Yes, commuters of all age groups can purchase the One Pune Transit Card.
Once you receive your card, it needs to be loaded with money post which you may simply tap the card on the specified area on the automatic gates/validator and again at the destination station.
Your One Pune Transit Card has a validity of 5 years. You can use the card until the chip in the card is accepted at the gates and the card is not damaged.
The following are the different ways you can recharge your One Pune Transit Card:
1. You can top-up the card by logging on the customer portal. Click here to visit the customer portal.
2. Visit your nearest NCMC-enabled Metro Station* and request the Ticket counter operator for a top-up.
3. Visit the Kiosk/ATVM installed at NCMC-enabled Metro Station* and simply follow the instructions mentioned on the screen for the top-up.
Below is the mode of payment accepted at various channels for top-up.
1. TOM: Cash, UPI and Cards
2. Kiosk/ATVM and Customer Portal: Cards and NetBanking
There is no minimum limit for card top-ups. However, the maximum limit is ₹3,000 at a time. (The maximum limit for chip balance is ₹2,000 and the total maximum card balance is ₹3,000).
Yes, you can. The card provides travellers with the benefit of cashless travel across India at all NCMC-enabled metro and bus stations.
Since the card is issued at the Pune metro station counter for the purpose of commuting, there is no need for the holder to be an HDFC Bank customer. Any individual can get the card instantly.
If the card is lost or stolen, the balance available in the offline wallet cannot be refunded as per regulatory guidelines. Similarly, in case the card is damaged, the card cannot be replaced and the balance available on the card cannot be refunded. You can visit the Pune metro station to get a new card.
On issuance of the card, 18% GST will be applied to the issuance fees. 1.8% or ₹12 fees (whichever is less) + GST will be applied on card top-up.

Balance sync is performed to transfer host balance to chip balance which can further be used at transit. When a customer performs a top-up via the customer portal, the amount is added to the host balance. To use it in transit, one must mandatorily perform balance sync by visiting the Kiosk /ATVM/TR installed at Pune metro stations and simply following the on-screen instructions to balance sync.
The One Pune Transit Card doesn’t support cash withdrawals at ATMs. The balance available in the card can only be utilised in transit once it has been topped up.
One Pune Transit Card can only be used for travel purposes. Besides this, it cannot be used for retail and e-commerce purchases.
As per RBI guidelines, the cards with no financial transaction for a consecutive period of 12 months shall be made inactive by the bank after sending a notice to the card holder.
If inactive, the card will be temporarily blocked. To unblock, visit Prepaid Card Portal or call Phone Banking at 1800 1600 or 1800 2600.
The card should be used before 12 am or the card gets locked again after unlocking it
