2-in-1 Demat Account combines the facilities of a Demat Account and a Trading Account. This account allows you to hold securities in digital form and trade them seamlessly with the same account. It facilitates the buying, selling and safe holding of various securities.

To open an InvestRight 2-in-1 Demat Account online, you must be a Resident Individual and the sole account holder. NRIs and Joint Account holders can also open a 2-in-1 Demat Account by submitting the required documents to the branch.

You will need to provide the following documents, depending on whether you apply online or offline:  

 

Online Application for Resident Individual (Sole Account Holder): 

 

  • PAN 

  • Aadhaar  

  • Mobile number linked with Aadhaar 

  • HDFC Bank Account details 

Physical Application: 

 

  • Valid Passport 

  • Driving License 

  • Aadhaar Card 

  • Voter ID 

  • NREGA Job Card  

  • National Population Register (NPR) letter with demographic details.  

Requirements for NRIs:

  • In case of face-to-face account opening all documents must be accompanied by Original Seen and Verified (OSV)

There is no minimum income requirement to open a 2-in-1 Demat Account.

A PAN card is mandatory to apply for an InvestRight 2-in-1 Demat Account. It is the primary document for verification.

You can open an InvestRight 2-in-1 Demat Account online through our Demat Account portal. While doing this, ensure you have your PAN card, Aadhaar Number, HDFC Bank Account details and mobile number linked to your Aadhaar for a smooth application process. You simply need to use your Aadhaar-linked mobile number for KYC verification through Digilocker and E-sign.

Resident individuals and NRI, both can open a 2-in-1 Demat Account. However, the eligibility and documentation will differ depending on the category you fall into.
