Resident Individual:

  • You can transfer your Savings/Current Account from one branch to another digitally via the InstaService journey “Account Transfer.”
  • You may also download the form and visit the branch for submission for Savings/Current/FD/RD accounts.

  • You can transfer your Savings/Current Account digitally through InstaServices or NetBanking.
  • You can also send a request for branch transfer for your Savings/Current/Fixed Deposits/Recurring Deposits via your registered email ID or visit the branch to submit the request.

Customer Request Form

  • Fill and sign the Account Transfer Request Form to transfer your account to another branch.

Individuals

  • Account transfer form duly signed by holders as per Mode of operation for the account

Non Individuals (Sole Proprietorship, Partnership, Private/ public ltd compaines, Trust, Association, Society etc.)

  • Account transfer form or Letter/ Board resolution/ Deed etc. duly signed by Authorised signatories as per mode of operation.

Methods to Transfer HDFC Bank Account

Here is how to change bank branch online through via website:

  • Go to www.hdfc.bank.in and in the menu, select Need Help > Accounts/Deposit Services > Account Transfer

  • Click on the ‘Let’s Begin’ button to start the journey.

  • Validate yourself using your registered mobile number and DOB/PAN/Customer ID.

  • Click on ‘Get OTP’ and submit the OTP received on your registered mobile number.

  • Select the Customer ID and the Account under it that you wish to transfer and continue.

  • In the “Select New Branch” field, enter the address, PIN code, or branch name.

  • Select a reason for the Account transfer and click on ‘Confirm.’

  • On the preview page, double-check all the information and click on ‘Confirm and Continue.’

  • Verify identity using NetBanking/Debit Card.

  • Receive an on-screen and SMS/email confirmation.

  • Visit any HDFC Bank branch and request the Account Transfer Form.

  • Fill in your old and new branch details carefully.

  • Ensure all Account holders sign the form as per mode of operation.

  • Ensure your registered mobile number is active to get OTPs.

  • If Re-KYC is pending, complete it before submitting your request.
