Here is how to change bank branch online through InstaServices:

  • Visit the HDFC Bank website > Insta Services > Account Transfer page.

  • Click on the ‘Let’s Begin’ button to start the journey.

  • Validate yourself using your registered mobile number and DOB/PAN/Customer ID.

  • Click on ‘Get OTP’ and submit the OTP received on your registered mobile number.

  • Select the Customer ID linked to the Account you want to transfer and continue.

  • In the “Select New Branch” field, enter the address, PIN code, or branch name.

  • Select a reason for the Account transfer and click on ‘Confirm.’

  • On the preview page, double-check all the information and click on ‘Confirm and Continue.’

  • Verify identity using NetBanking/Debit Card.

  • Review and submit your Account change request.

  • Receive an on-screen and SMS/email confirmation.

Note that it may take up to 2 working days to update your mobile number on your Credit Card. Also, you continue using your old mobile number for the next 5 days.
