Starting from July 01, 2017, the Service Tax, KKC (Krishi Kalyan Cess), and SBC (Swachh Bharat Cess) of 15% have been replaced by Goods and Service Tax (GST) at a rate of 18%.
The applicable GST is determined based on the Place of Provision (POP) and the Place of Supply (POS). If the POP and POS (Point of Sale) are in the same state, then CGST and SGST/UTGST apply; otherwise, IGST is applicable.
GST for fees, charges, or interest transactions billed on the statement date will be reflected in the next month's statement.
Additionally, GST levied on any dispute regarding fees, charges, or interest will not be reversed.
