Mr. Anjani Rathor is the Group Head - Digital Banking and Customer Experience at HDFC Bank. He heads Digital Banking, Customer Experience, Data and Process Excellence at the Bank.
Mr. Rathor is responsible for enhancing customer experience and driving digital adoption across all banking channels - assisted and unassisted i.e. Branches, Virtual Banking, Internet Banking and Agency Banking. He is also responsible for leveraging Data to enable customer outreach and egngagement in compliance with the data privacy laws in India and overseas.
Mr. Rathor joined HDFC Bank in 2020 as Chief Digital Officer. He has been instrumental in building digital applications and enhancing the performance of various customer outreach channels across the Bank.
Prior to joining HDFC Bank, he worked with Bharti Airtel. He joined Bharti Airtel in 2007 and headed several transformational initiatives in various capacities during his tenure. He also served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of company’s Consumer Business.
An industry veteran with over 25 years of experience, Mr. Rathor brings with him rich and diverse experience across sectors such as Banking, Telecom, Consulting and Aviation. Prior to working with Bharti Airtel, he held leadership positions with organisations such as Boeing International, Accenture and Citicorp.
Mr. Rathor holds a degree in Bachelor of Technology from IIT Kharagpur and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM-Calcutta.
