Mr. Rahul Shyam Shukla

Mr. Rahul Shyam Shukla is Group Head at HDFC Bank.

He joined HDFC Bank in March 2018 as Group Head – Corporate & Business Banking, later taking on the role of Group Head – Commercial and Rural Banking (CRB).  A banking veteran, he has over 30 years of work experience.  His previous organisation was Citibank, which he joined in 1991 and served in various functions in India and overseas. He was Head of Corporate Bank (South Asia) at Citibank and was responsible for coverage of Large Corporates, Financial Institutions, Public Sector and MNCs operating in India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. He was also a member of Citibank’s Global Corporate Banking Operating Committee.

Rahul completed his graduation in B. Tech. (EE) from IIT Varanasi in 1989 and his MBA from IIM Bangalore in 1991. At present he is on a sabbatical.
