Device Not Supported – iPhone 12 & Below
To ensure a safe and secure experience, HDFC Bank Digital Rupee app is no longer supported on select older iPhone models, including: iPhone 6, 7, 8, X, XS, XR, SE, 11, and 12 (all variants).
Users accessing the app on these devices will see the following message:
“Device Not Supported – CBDC services are not available on iPhone 12 and below. To ensure a safe and secure experience, please use an iPhone 13 or above.”
- 1. Wallet Deactivation
Your Digital Rupee wallet will be automatically deactivated, and the application will de-register your wallet. - 2. Balance Transfer
Any available wallet balance will be automatically credited to your wallet linked bank account. - 3. SMS Notification
You will receive an SMS confirming the system-initiated redemption and wallet de-registration. - Registration on unsupported devices will not be permitted. Such users will be unable to successfully complete the registration process.
