Device Not Supported – iPhone 12 & Below

To ensure a safe and secure experience, HDFC Bank Digital Rupee app is no longer supported on select older iPhone models, including: iPhone 6, 7, 8, X, XS, XR, SE, 11, and 12 (all variants).
 

Users accessing the app on these devices will see the following message:

“Device Not Supported – CBDC services are not available on iPhone 12 and below. To ensure a safe and secure experience, please use an iPhone 13 or above.”
 

    For Existing Users on Unsupported Devices
    If you attempt to register or log in to the HDFC Bank Digital Rupee App using any of the above devices:
     

  • 1. Wallet Deactivation
    Your Digital Rupee wallet will be automatically deactivated, and the application will de-register your wallet.
  • 2. Balance Transfer
    Any available wallet balance will be automatically credited to your wallet linked bank account.
  • 3. SMS Notification
    You will receive an SMS confirming the system-initiated redemption and wallet de-registration.
  • For New Users

  • Registration on unsupported devices will not be permitted. Such users will be unable to successfully complete the registration process.
  • To continue using the HDFC Bank Digital Rupee App, please access the service on a compatible device (iPhone 13 or above).
