Here’s a quick guide to assist you to start enjoying this added privilege on your Credit Cards. We request you to set your credit card PIN (If not already set) before starting this process.   • Currently, you can link your HDFC Bank RuPay Credit Card in all UPI apps only. (PayZapp/ GPay/ PhonePe/ Mobikwik/ PayTM/ BHIM/ Slice /Tata Neu)

  • How to link HDFC Bank RuPay Credit Card on PayZapp app?

  • If you are already a PayZapp user, please follow the below steps to add your RuPay credit card to UPI.
  • Step 1: Login to PayZapp and go to 'Accounts & Cards' section.
  • Step 2: Go to ‘UPI accounts’ and click on '+ Add new'
  • Step 3: Select 'RuPay credit card' -> Select ‘HDFC Bank credit card’ to fetch and link your HDFC Bank RuPay Credit card.

  • If you are not a PayZapp user, please follow the below steps to download and add your RuPay credit card to PayZapp UPI.
  • Step 1: Download PayZapp app from Play store or App store.
  • Step 2: Start the PayZapp registration journey and click on '+ Add New’ -> ‘Rupay Credit Card' during your UPI registration process.
  • Step 3: Select ‘HDFC Bank credit card’ to fetch and link your HDFC Bank RuPay Credit card.

  • For UPI PIN Setup, go to PayZapp Home -> Accounts & Cards -> UPI Accounts -> Click on ‘Credit Cards’ tab and set UPI PIN.
  • Enter last 6 digits of the card & Expiry date
  • Enter OTP
  • Enter Credit Card PIN
  • Set UPI PIN

  • Make payment with HDFC Bank RuPay Credit Card on UPI

  • Scan merchant UPI QR Code
  • Enter Amount & Select Credit Account
  • Select HDFC Bank RuPay Credit Card account followed by UPI PIN
  • View Transaction History

Once you have added your HDFC Bank RuPay Credit Card to the UPI app, open UPI app on your mobile, click on ‘Scan’. QR scanner will open on UPI app, scan the QR, enter the amount, select HDFC Bank RuPay credit card from the drop-down menu, confirm the payment by entering UPI Pin. Payment confirmation will be displayed, once the payment is done.

Amount limit per card per day can be upto  UPI limit (i.e, 1 lakh per day and 2 lakh for some special MCC codes i.e 5960, 6300 & 6529 (Excludes the restricted categories merchant in previous Question), however, it will be subject to the available credit limit on your credit card.
To note - Amount limit per day per card is Rs.5,000 for first 24 hrs of linking the card in UPI app.

Payment can be made for e-commerce merchant either through an Intent request or collect request from the merchant. Select UPI app as payment mode at merchant website /app, login into UPI app, select HDFC Bank Credit Card from the drop-down menu, confirm the payment using UPI Pin. Payment confirmation will be displayed, once the payment is done, you will be routed back to the merchant page.
