QA Engineer
 

Job Purpose 

We are seeking an experienced Senior QE Engineer / Lead SDET with deep hands‑on testing expertise across mobile, web, and API channels in the Retail Banking domain. This is an individual contributor role requiring strong ownership, technical leadership, and the ability to drive daily QE activities, quality initiatives, and collaboration across cross‑functional teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Extensive experience in the BFSI/Banking domain, covering areas such as UPI, Cards, Payments, Wallets, Deposits, FC, Onboarding/Registration, Open Markets, Loans, Investments, etc.
  • Must be playing the role of QE Lead / Senior QA in current role.
  • Individual contributor role with full hands‑on responsibility in testing activities.
  • Proven expertise in leading and managing day‑to‑day QE deliverables and test planning.
  • Hands‑on experience in Mobile App testing, Web testing, and API testing.
  • Strong expertise in Functional Manual Testing.
  • Excellent knowledge of Automation testing, with hands‑on programming experience using Java / Python / Selenium / Katalon / EggPlant or similar tools.
  • Experience integrating automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Git, etc.).
  • Strong working exposure in SDET frameworks, TDD environments, and test automation best practices.
  • Good understanding of AI concepts, conversational banking, and adoption of AI practices in QE.
  • Deep knowledge of test environments, infra, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in SAFe Agile environments.
  • Ability to develop test strategy, test plans, estimations, and review test artifacts.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive Quality Initiatives, focusing on efficiency, metrics, and process improvements.
  • Strong experience in creating actionable metrics, JIRA dashboards, and management reports.
  • Ability to troubleshoot QE issues independently and collaborate with stakeholders for resolution.
  • Ability to analyze GCP transaction logs, interface logs, and derive insights.
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers and guide teams on testing best practices.

Experience: 11 to 13 years
 

Required Skills
 

  • Selenium, Python, EggPlant, Katalon, or other automation tools.
  • JIRA, Scrum Boards, Project Management tools, Confluence.
  • Test Management tools: Zephyr, Rational Quality Manager, etc.
  • API Testing using Postman collections.
  • Hands‑on experience with GCP logs (transaction & interface).
  • Knowledge of AI tools such as Microsoft Co‑Pilot
