If you’re unable to track your Credit Card or the status isn’t updating, here’s what you can do:

  • Verify Your Details: Ensure the information entered, such as your application reference number or registered mobile number, is accurate.
  • Wait and Retry: System updates may take time. Try checking again after a few hours or the next business day.
  • Contact Customer Care: Reach out to HDFC Bank Customer Care or visit your nearest branch for assistance.
  • Check Spam or SMS Folders: Sometimes status updates are shared via email or SMS. Make sure you haven’t missed any communication.

How to Track Your Credit Card Application

Tracking your HDFC Bank Credit Card application is simple and hassle-free. Just follow these easy steps to check your application status:

  • Step 2: Enter your registered mobile number and any one of the following details:

    • Application Reference Number
    • Application Form Number
    • Date of Birth
  • Step 3: Click ‘Submit’ to view your application status instantly.

Eligibility for HDFC Credit Card Mobile Number Change

You can easily change the registered mobile number on your Credit Card if you satisfy these conditions:

  • You’re an Indian Resident who has an active HDFC Bank Credit Card
  • You have your Credit Card details
  • You have access to your new mobile number for OTP verification
  • You have your Aadhaar details handy to verify your new number
  • Your new number is linked to your Aadhaar (Required if you do not have access to your old mobile number at the moment)

Ways to Change Your Credit Card’s Phone Number

Via InstaServices

If you have access to your Registered Mobile Number:

  • Visit the InstaServices page.
  • Check the prerequisites to update your mobile number on your Credit Card.
  • Click on ‘Let’s Begin’ if you meet all the requirements.
  • Enter your Registered Mobile Number and DOB/PAN number to get the OTP.
  • Submit the 6-digit OTP sent to your number.
  • Enter your new mobile number and verify it using the OTP sent to that number.
  • Provide your Credit Card details.
  • Click on ‘Continue’ to submit your mobile number update request.

Note that it may take up to 2 working days to update your mobile number on your Credit Card. Also, you continue using your old mobile number for the next 5 days.

If you don’t have access to your Registered Mobile Number:

  • On the InstaServices page, click ‘Let’s Begin’ button if you meet all the requirements.
  • Enter your Registered Mobile Number and DOB/PAN number to get the OTP on your registered Email ID.
  • Submit the 6-digit OTP.
  • Enter your new mobile number and verify it using the OTP sent to that number.
  • Provide your Credit Card details and click on ‘Continue’ to proceed.
  • Confirm your identity using Aadhaar e-KYC.
  • Provide the mentioned Aadhaar details to submit your mobile number update request.

Note that it may take up to 2 working days to update your mobile number on your Credit Card. Also, you continue using your old mobile number for the next 5 days.

If you are more comfortable with an in-person interaction, you can visit an HDFC Bank branch for an HDFC Credit Card mobile number change.

  • Locate the nearest HDFC Bank branch.
  • Visit the branch, carrying your identity proof and Credit Card.
  • Request a contact detail update form at the customer service desk.
  • Duly fill out the form with your new contact information.
  • Provide necessary documents, like your ID proof.
  • Submit the form along with the documents to the bank official. They will provide you with an acknowledgment receipt and process the update request.
