For the claims to be accepted & processed, the first holder of the Women's Savings Account should have made at least 1 Point of Sale (POS) purchase at a merchant establishment using the Debit Card in the 3 months prior to the date of the accident

Sweep-in means that whenever the funds in your Savings Account are running low for a purchase or transaction, the bank will transfer the deficit amount from your Fixed Deposit to your Savings Account without affecting your interest rate in your Fixed Deposit. This can help you in a pinch when there is an emergency like sudden hospital bills, buying a vehicle, or any other personal crisis. Sweep-in allows transferring funds from Fixed Deposits to Savings Accounts when needed. 

The Sweep-Out Facility automatically transfers excess funds from your Savings Account into a Fixed Deposit, offering higher interest rates.

Getting started with your new account*

You can track your welcome kit or card status online using your reference number. If not received in 7 working days, reach out to support. 

Here’s how you can register for Net Banking - 

Just head to the App Store/Google Play and search “HDFC Bank MobileBanking”. Once installed, register using your Customer ID & OTP.

Not necessarily! You can register directly using your debit card details or Customer ID + OTP.

Yes! You can set your registered mobile number or a User ID as your login once registered. Go to settings in the app to update.

It could be due to network or mismatch in details. Ensure you’re using your registered mobile number and latest app version. Try again or contact support.

Activating & Using Your Debit Card

You can activate it via MobileBanking, NetBanking or at any HDFC Bank ATM. Just use your ATM PIN for the first time to enable.

Set your PIN via MobileBanking, NetBanking, or by visiting an ATM. Choose what's easiest for you. 

Yes, but you’ll need to enable international usage from your app or NetBanking first.

Block it immediately via MobileBanking or NetBanking. You can also request a replacement card in a few taps. 

UPI & Bill Payments

Open the HDFC Bank Mobile App ➝ Go to UPI ➝ Create a new UPI ID and link your account. It's instant!

Yes! You can set AutoPay for bills via MobileBanking. Choose your biller and frequency once.

Making Your First Transactions

Use UPI, IMPS, NEFT or RTGS from your MobileBanking or NetBanking. UPI is fastest and free. 

In NetBanking, go to Funds Transfer > Activate TP Transfer. You may need debit card details and OTP.

Login to Mobile/NetBanking ➝ Go to Funds Transfer ➝ Add Beneficiary ➝ Enter details ➝ Authenticate via OTP.

Fixed Deposits & Savings Options

Log into Mobile/NetBanking ➝ Select Open FD ➝ Enter amount & tenure ➝ Confirm with OTP.

You can start an FD with as little as Rs. 5,000.

Yes, you can close an FD anytime via MobileBanking. Partial withdrawals are allowed in Sweep-in FDs. 

If your savings go above a set limit, extra funds are auto-transferred to an FD — helping you earn more.
