Yes, free facility to set monthly automatic instructions from Guardian to Super kids account is mandatory (Minimum value Rs. 5,000 & Minimum tenure 1 year) with the objective of either inculcate good financial habits in the child OR to save for their future

  • Money Maximizer converts surplus savings into higher interest Fixed Deposits.
  • It offers both the high returns of Fixed Deposits and the flexibility of a Savings Account.
  • With Super kids, you have the option to automate transfer of excess funds over and above INR 2 lakhs 

  • Sweep-in means that whenever the funds in your Savings Account are running low for a purchase or transaction, the bank will transfer the deficit amount from your Fixed Deposit to your Savings Account without affecting your interest rate in your Fixed Deposit. This can help you in a pinch when there is an emergency like sudden hospital bills, buying a vehicle, or any other personal crisis. Sweep-in allows transferring funds from Fixed Deposits to Savings Accounts when needed.
  • The Sweep-Out Facility automatically transfers excess funds from your Savings Account into a Fixed Deposit, offering higher interest rates.

  • Debit Card can be issued only to minors above 3 years of age
  • Free personalized ATM/ Debit Card will be issued in your child's name with your permission.
  • Your child can withdraw Rs. 2,500 per day at ATMs and spend Rs. 10,000 per day at merchant locations

Post fulfilling the eligibility criteria, the Customer will receive voucher within 105 days. Super kids account comes with a Minimum Average Quarterly Balance requirement of INR 1 lakh or an FD cushion of INR 4 lakhs.

Getting started with your new account*

You can track your welcome kit or card status online using your reference number. If not received in 7 working days, reach out to support. 

Here’s how you can register for Net Banking - 

Just head to the App Store/Google Play and search “HDFC Bank MobileBanking”. Once installed, register using your Customer ID & OTP.

Not necessarily! You can register directly using your debit card details or Customer ID + OTP.

Yes! You can set your registered mobile number or a User ID as your login once registered. Go to settings in the app to update.

It could be due to network or mismatch in details. Ensure you’re using your registered mobile number and latest app version. Try again or contact support.

Activating & Using Your Debit Card

You can activate it via MobileBanking, NetBanking or at any HDFC Bank ATM. Just use your ATM PIN for the first time to enable.

Set your PIN via MobileBanking, NetBanking, or by visiting an ATM. Choose what's easiest for you. 

Yes, but you’ll need to enable international usage from your app or NetBanking first.

Block it immediately via MobileBanking or NetBanking. You can also request a replacement card in a few taps.
