1. Download the PayZapp app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
2. Log in using the Indian or international mobile number registered with your HDFC Bank NRE/NRO Account.
3. Ensure the SIM linked to your registered mobile number is active on the device for SMS verification.
4. PayZapp will automatically detect and link your HDFC Bank NRE/NRO Account.
5. Select the linked Account and proceed with UPI activation.
6. Enter the last 6 digits and expiry date of your active NRE/NRO Debit Card.
7. Verify your identity using the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
8. Set your UPI PIN.
9. Start making payments, transferring funds, scanning QR codes, and receiving money through UPI.
UPI allows NRE/NRO Account holders to send and receive INR instantly using UPI IDs (VPA), QR codes, mobile numbers, and Bank Account details through NPCI's digital payment network.
Yes. UPI is currently available for customers using supported international mobile numbers from countries such as the Canada, USA, UK, UAE, and Saudi Arabia. Support for additional countries will be introduced soon.
UPI transactions for NR customers are free of charge. The daily UPI transaction limit is ₹1,00,000. For newly created UPI IDs, a transaction limit of ₹5,000 may apply during the initial 24 to 72 hours as an additional security measure.

However, UPI transactions for NR customers are currently supported only in Indian Rupees (INR). Foreign currency transactions are not supported.
UPI transactions are generally processed instantly upon successful authorisation. UPI services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays, allowing customers to make and receive payments anytime.

Yes. If your international mobile number is registered with your PayZapp account and linked to an active UPI ID, you can make UPI payments using your mobile number. However, Pay-to-Contact is supported only for Indian mobile numbers linked to an active UPI ID. You cannot send payments to foreign mobile numbers that are not part of the UPI network. Alternatively, you can make payments using a QR code, UPI ID (VPA), or Bank Account details.

If an order is cancelled or a refund is initiated by a merchant, such as Amazon, Myntra, or any other participating merchant, the refunded amount is generally credited back to the same Account used for the original transaction. Therefore, if the payment was made using an NRE Account, the refund will be credited back to the same NRE Account in accordance with applicable UPI refund guidelines.
