Non-resident Indians (NRIs) can now use UPI on their international mobile numbers. The international number, which is linked to their Non-Resident External (NRE) and Non-Resident Ordinary (NRO) HDFC Bank account can be used for this purpose.
The customer has to register with his/her international mobile number in few simple steps on apps which are live with this feature.
