Flexible Third Party Transfer limits on NetBanking

You have the freedom to set the online Third Party Transfer limit on your account up to ₹50,00,000 instantly. What's more, you can reset the limit as often as you need to.

The default limit for all accounts at the time of Third Party Transfer Registration is ₹2 lacs. However, if you have already changed this limit, it will not change till you change it.

Important: Post-registration, third-party transfers will be restricted for the first 24 hours. Thereafter, a transfer limit of up to ₹50,000 will be applicable for the subsequent 24 hours. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Process to modify TPT Limits:

Online:

To modify your Third Party Transfer Limit, just follow these simple steps:

  • Login to  HDFC Bank NetBanking > Click on 'Send Money' > Under Quick Links click on 'Customize Transfer Limit'
  • Navigation path for HDFC Bank Mobile App (Android and IOS): Login > Click on the hamburger menu or profile icon > Manage limits > MobileBanking & NetBanking
  • Set the amount to your desired transfer limit (maximum up to ₹50,00,000). Senior citizens above 70 years of age can increase the Third Party Transfer limit maximum up to ₹10,00,000 from online platform. To increase the limit to over ₹10,00,000, you will have to visit the nearest HDFC Bank Branch.
  • To increase TPT Limit, authenticate the transaction with your Debit Card Details + One Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered Mobile number OR NetBanking & MPIN on MobileBanking App.
  • No authentication is required to decrease TPT limit.

In case you are unable to increase your TPT limit online, please visit your nearest HDFC Bank Branch, with a valid photo ID proof and submit the duly signed TPT Limit Increase form.
