Methods to Hotlist your Debit Card

InstaServices

  • Visit the InstaServices tab on the HDFC Bank website.

  • Select the ‘Debit Card Hotlisting and Re-issuance’ service.

  • Click on the ‘Hotlist Debit Card and Re-Issue’ button to start the journey.

  • Validate yourself using your registered mobile number and DOB/PAN/Customer ID.

  • Click on ‘Continue’ and enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.

  • Accept the terms and conditions and click on ‘Continue’.

  • On the ‘Debit Card Hotlisting and Re-Issuance’ page, view all linked Account details and active Debit Cards.

  • Select the Account number and Debit Card to hotlist from the dropdown menu.

  • Choose a blocking reason. ‘Re-issue New Debit Card’ will be set to ‘Yes’ by default; you can change it if you don’t want a new card and click ‘Continue’.

  • Preview and reconfirm your details and click on ‘Confirm’.

  • Authenticate yourself through Debit Card/NetBanking.

  • You will receive confirmation that your card is hotlisted successfully.

  • On the Debit Card homepage, click on the Block Card Tab.

  • Select the reason for hotlisting and continue further.

  • You will receive confirmation that the card has been hotlisted successfully.

  • Log in to NetBanking using Customer ID and Password.

  • Click on Pay > Card Section and then select Debit Card on the left-hand side.

  • You will receive confirmation that the card has been hotlisted successfully.

  • Customers having Account(s) with a holding pattern jointly are requested to visit the bank branch to avail this service.
