Family Savings Group Account Documents Required

  • A valid HDFC Bank account is required to join a family group.

  • All fees and charges mentioned in the tariff of charges will attract a Service Tax of 14% (effective from June 1, 2015).

  • Swachh Bharat Cess (SBC) of 0.5% (effective from November 15, 2015).

  • Krishi Kalyan Cess of 0.5% (effective from June 1, 2016).

  • Charges applicable from September 1, 2013, can be viewed by clicking here.

  • Service/transaction charges are based on the Average Monthly Balance (AMB) maintained in the account in the previous month.

  • Service/transaction charges do not apply to Preferred, Corporate Salary, and SuperSaver customers.

  • PhoneBanking charges apply to transactions conducted through a PhoneBanking Executive, specifically those available on the IVR.

  • These fees and charges are subject to the applicable taxes mentioned above, with Service Tax at 14%, effective from June 1, 2015, and Swachh Bharat Cess (SBC) at 0.5% (effective from November 15, 2015) and Krishi Kalyan Cess at 0.5%, (effective from June 1, 2016)

  • Service/Transaction charges for the current month are determined by the Average Monthly Balance (AMB) maintained in the bank account during the previous month.

  • Classic, Preferred, Imperia, Corporate Salary, and SuperSaver customers are exempt from Service/Transaction charges if they do not meet the AMB/AQB requirements.

  • Phone Banking charges apply to transactions available on the IVR but initiated by the customer through a Phon eBanking Executive.
