To open a Defence Salary Account, certain documents are required to establish proof of identity and proof of address for resident individuals. These documents include a valid passport, PAN (Permanent Account Number) card, voter ID card, valid permanent driving licence, Aadhaar Card or E-Aadhaar letter issued by the government of India, and a job card issued by NREGA duly signed by an officer of the State Government.
