  • Anyone can apply for this card – you don’t need to be an existing HDFC Bank customer.
  • Mandatory KYC Documents
  • To apply for a Multicurrency Platinum ForexPlus Chip Card, submit the following documents along with a signed application form:
  • If you hold an HDFC Bank Account:
  • Self-attested copy of a valid passport
  • Self-attested copy of PAN (if PAN is not already updated in your account)
  • If you do not hold an HDFC Bank Account:
  • Self-attested copy of a valid passport
  • Self-attested copy of PAN
  • Copy of your international travel ticket or visa
  • Copy of passbook or a one-year account statement of the account used to fund the Forex Card
  • Important Notes:
  • The Bank reserves the right to amend the list of KYC documents as per regulatory guidelines or internal policies.
  • Please carry the required self-attested KYC documents when collecting your card from the branch or have them ready for home delivery.
  • The Multicurrency Platinum ForexPlus Chip Card will only be activated after the KYC documents have been fully verified.
