The HDFC Bank ISIC Student ForexPlus Card offers benefits like global acceptance, protection against forex fluctuations, instant reloads, and complimentary insurance. It also provides discounts on books, food, shopping, and travel and acts as an internationally recognised student identity card endorsed by UNESCO.
The HDFC Bank ISIC Student ForexPlus Card is available to students aged 12 and above.
The HDFC Bank ISIC Student ForexPlus Card is valid for two years from the date of issuance.
To apply for the HDFC Bank ISIC Student ForexPlus Card, students need to submit a completed application form, Form A2, a passport-sized photograph, a valid passport, a PAN card, an admission letter or university ID card, and an international travel ticket or visa.
Non-HDFC Bank customers must provide a self-attested copy of their valid passport, PAN card, and international travel ticket or visa. They must also submit a copy of their passbook or a one-year account statement used to fund the Forex card.
Guardian's signature is required for applicants aged 12-18.
The HDFC Bank ISIC Student ForexPlus Card issuance fee is ₹300 plus GST. Additional fees apply for reloading, replacement, and ATM withdrawals.
The HDFC Bank ISIC Student ForexPlus Card allows a maximum load of USD 250,000 (or equivalent in other currencies) per financial year, as per the RBI's Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS) guidelines. This limit applies to both loading and reloading the card.
