    • We are partnered with Wise formally known as TransferWise, who is the licensced partner in the USA to facilitate remittances to India.
    • For the USA, the remitter can remit up to the value of USD 10,000 only (per transaction).
    • Remitters will need to provide Email id, Date of Birth, Mobile No. & Social Security Number (SSN).
    • KYC verification will be conducted by our partner Wise.

As and when a remitter books a remittance request through RemitNow2India, he/she is expected to fund the transfer using their overseas bank account. If the remittance is not funded at the earliest, the request will expire over time, and the remitter will have to book a fresh remittance request.

For the USA, the remitter can remit up to the value of USD 50,000 only (per transaction). There is no limit on the number of transactions per day.

RemitNow2India is an independent remittance platform. The service will be shortly introduced for HDFC Bank clients to visit RemitNow2India via Net Banking.

Yes, RemitNow2India is available for sending money to all major banks in India. The service supports transfers to a wide network of banks across the country, ensuring that your funds can reach the recipient's account, regardless of their banking institution. However, it’s recommended to verify the specific bank’s participation and any potential restrictions with HDFC Bank before initiating a transfer to ensure a smooth transaction.

Once the amount is credited into the beneficiary account, the same cannot be refunded. You may check with the beneficiary directly and arrange to credit your overseas bank account.

Currency conversion charges will be borne by the remitter.

RemitNowIndia service is currently available for individual remittances only and the transfer needs to be initiated or received from/to a Savings Bank Account only. Remittances for business purposes are not allowed.

While initiating the funds transfer process, you can view and select the purpose codes in the dropdown menu. RemitNow2India will abide by all global remittance regulations before registering the remitter and initiating the transfer process.

RemitNow2India is HDFC Bank’s online remittance platform for individuals living abroad who want to transfer money to a beneficiary holding a bank Account in India.

RemitNow2India assures full value remittance with the best exchange rates. The exchange rate locked at the time of booking a remittance request will remain, as long as the remitter funds the remittance at the earliest. If there is any delay in funding the transfer and/or the booking rate changes over time, the remitter will be informed via Phone/Email before processing the remittance request.,

The amount you can send to India depends on the regulations of the country you are sending from and the method of transfer. Generally, there is no upper limit for sending money to India through most remittance services, including RemitNow2India. However, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) allows Indian residents to receive up to $250,000 per financial year under the Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS). Always check with your remittance service provider and local laws for any specific limits or requirements.

There can be multiple reasons where the fund transfer will not be processed successfully. In cases of rejection or expiry, the remitter will receive appropriate notification during the remittance process and the funds will be returned to the remitter. Valid Mobile Number and Email ID are mandatory to register and generate a password online.

RemitNow2India assures a same day transfer to the beneficiary’s Account in India subject to all verification checks in place. When you initiate the payment, the availability date on your transaction page will tell you when the money will be available to your beneficiary.

Funds sent to India through RemitNow2India typically reach the recipient's bank account within 1-2 business days. The exact time may vary depending on the country of origin, the time of the transaction, and the recipient's bank processing times. In many cases, transfers may be completed on the same day, but it's advisable to allow a couple of days to ensure the funds are received without delays.

Indian Financial System Code (IFSC), is a unique 11-digit alphanumeric code that is used for online fund transfer transactions done via NEFT, RTGS and IMPS.

Processing charges are included while initiating the refund. Hence the amounts are different.
