The HDFC Bank Resident Foreign Currency (RFC) Savings Account offers a flexible and secure way for returning Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) to deposit their foreign earnings. As this account will allow holders to retain their foreign currency without converting it into Indian Rupees until they choose to do so, thus avoiding currency exchange rate risks. The account comes with a nomination facility and the convenience of Indian Rupees withdrawal.

Documents to get you started

  • Photocopy of the Indian passport, including passport details and personal details of all applicants.
  • Permanent Account Number (PAN) or Form 60 (if PAN is not available).
  • Copy of Visa (expired or valid) and immigration stamps showing evidence of foreign stay for at least 1 year (last departure and arrival page).
