Haryana MP inaugurates Oxygen Plant at Sonepat Civil Hospital set up by HDFC Bank Parivartan

Sonepat (Haryana), 11 March, 2022: Shri. Ramesh Chander Kaushik, Member of Parliament from Sonepat, today inaugurated the medical oxygen plant sponsored by HDFC Bank at Sonepat Civil Hospital. The plant will help strengthen the city’s medical facility and enhance the healthcare infrastructure to prepare against a COVID-19 wave.

The Bank, through its flagship CSR programme Parivartan, has set up several such PSA plants in hospitals across various states. The bank installed this PSA plant to strengthen the healthcare infrastructure in the city. Sonepat Civil Hospital is a designated COVID-19 treatment centre right from the start of the pandemic. The oxygen plant will make the hospital self-sufficient and eliminate dependence on cryogenic tankers to transport oxygen from far off places

The Oxygen plant was inaugurated in the presence of Mr Jai Kishore, Civil Surgeon, Civil Hospital Sonepat and bank officials Mr Uttam Singh Ahluwalia, Zonal Head - GIB North; Mr Rajender Verma, State Head – GIB Haryana.

Apart from providing scholarships to students impacted by COVID, and training youth, farmers and women in different vocations, the Bank is proud to strengthen the state’s preparedness for a possible third wave.”

Parivartan has been a catalyst in making a difference in the lives of millions of people through its interventions in the areas of rural development, education, skill development and livelihood enhancement, healthcare & hygiene and financial literacy.
