Loan Agreement: Completed loan agreement to be signed by the applicant and co-applicant. Repayment Instructions: Post-dated cheques (PDCs), Automated Clearing House (ACH) mandate, or Standing Instruction (SI) mandate, and 3 security PDCs in case of ACH and SI mode of repayment. 

 

In order to avail an Education Loan, applicants will be required to give certain income related documents. You can refer to the exhaustive list of income related documents mentioned above. 

Identity proof documents required for Student Loan applications include Passport, Voter ID, Driving Licence, Aadhaar Card, and PAN Card. 

HDFC Bank requires the admission letter from the institute with a detailed fee structure, along with your SSC, HSC, and graduation marksheets. These academic documents help verify your educational background and the cost of your course for processing the education loan.

You must submit age proof, signature proof, identity proof, and residence proof as part of the KYC requirement for an HDFC Bank education loan.

If salaried, you must submit your latest 2 salary slips mentioning date of joining and the latest 6 months’ bank statements of your salary account. HDFC Bank uses these documents to assess your income stability and repayment capability for the education loan.

HDFC Bank requires the last 2 years’ Income Tax Returns with income computation, 2 years’ audited balance sheet, 6 months’ bank statements, and latest sales or service tax return as proof of turnover. These documents help assess your business income for the loan.

Self-employed professionals need to submit the last 2 years’ Income Tax Returns with computation, 2 years’ audited balance sheet or profit and loss statement, 6 months’ bank statements, and proof of qualification. These documents establish your professional income and credibility for the loan.

You must fill out the HDFC Bank education loan application form and provide a recent signed photograph. These documents complete the initial loan application and help the bank validate your identity and application details.

You are required to sign a completed loan agreement along with your co-applicant. HDFC Bank mandates this as a formal acceptance of the loan terms. You also need to pay stamp duty as per applicable state laws.

Post-sanction, you must provide Post-Dated Cheques (PDCs), an ACH mandate, or Standing Instructions (SI). If opting for ACH or SI, submit 3 security PDCs additionally.

You must submit a signed disbursement request letter, the university’s fee demand letter, your academic progress report, fresh repayment instructions (if applicable), and the receipt of previous payment issued by the institute.

You need to submit the required documents for subsequent disbursements at your nearest HDFC Bank Retail Assets Customer Service Center (CSC).
